AN engineering firm has signed up for a second year to sponsor the Colne Grand Prix.
Elite riders from British Cycling will line up in the Pendle town on Tuesday, July 16, following a youth race and the Sprint for Success preliminary.
Engineers and fitness trainers at Simonstone-based Fort Vale, which is backing the Colne Town Council organised gathering, have been getting into the spirit of the event.
Shaun Laycock, general manager, said: "Our passion for cycling runs right through the company, from our management team to engineers and young apprentices. People in our workforce are into triathlons and competitive cycling."
The firm invested in its own sport and fitness centre, overseen by trainer Kelly Armstrong, who offers spinning classes.
