Reg and Nancy Clanford celebrated 60 years of marraige in 1979
It's rare to find a couple celebrating their diamond wedding anniversary these days, but in 1979, following a whirlwind romance some 60 years previous, Nancy and Reg Clanford were doing just that.
The Ewood couple, who met at Christmas and were married by January, said give and take and love and trust were the secrets to a long and happy marriage.
