A festival celebrating Eid has been cancelled.
Eid in the Park, which was due to take place in Blackburn's Corporation Park today has been cancelled.
Stall holders and volunteers arrived at the park this morning to set-up, but organisers decided to call off the celebrations because of the bad weather.
However, they have reassured all those wanting to attend that the event will continue as planned on Sunday.
A spokesperson for Eid in the Park said: "Saturday in the Park is cancelled.
"Stall holders and volunteers have now left the Park but we are back on tomorrow."
Heavy rain has been battering East Lancashire since Friday night, but forecasters expect Sunday to be dry with sunny spells later in the afternoon.
The annual two day event includes a funfair, competitions, stalls, and donkey rides.
