A MOTORCYCLIST has been taken to hospital after crashing into a silver Ford Focus.
The man suffered multiple serious injuries, including serious injuries to his legs, in the crash which took place in Clarence Street, Burnley, at around 1.50pm.
An air ambulance was called to the scene and landed nearby, however it was not needed.
An ambulance service spokesman said the man was taken to the major trauma unit at Royal Preston Hospital.
A police spokesman said the driver of the car did not suffer any serious injuries.
A passer-by said there were two ambulances and five police cars at the scene.
