MARKETING bosses say they are planning to stage their largest-ever culinary fiesta as part of Blackburn's Festival of Making.
A giant marquee will be erected on King William Street for the Taste Lancashire extravaganza on June 15 and 16.
Gin makers Batch and Hoyle Bottom Spirits, from Burnley and Accrington respectively, Bacup's Heritage Kitchen Preserves and Mr Fitzpatrick's Cordials, based in Rawtenstall, will be among the exhibitors.
Rachel McQueen, Marketing Lancashire's chief executive, said: "Some of the best produce in the world is made here in Lancashire and for that to continue we need to support our local producers, retailers, pubs and restaurants throughout the year."
The Organic Dairy in Leagram, Nowt Poncy sauces, also Rossendale-based, and Our Paula's, in Chorley, are also set to feature.
'Meet the producer' talks will take place in their Chatty Cafe, with The Bee Centre, Wignall's Yallo, from Standish, and Calyx Drinks are sharing their expertise.
