A 9-year-old has raised £1,140 for a charity after being inspired by her grandfather.
Khadijah Valli's grandfather Ismail Valli is a trustee of Malawi Relief Fund and she wanted to help those less fortunate than her during Ramadan.
Khadijah not only collected money from friends and family, but also raised the amounts from various other methods.
She went door to door in her community, she sold cps, pens and other items she personally bought from town and sold on.
A statement from the Malawi Relief Fund read, "We think Khadijah deserves a huge amount of credit and duas from us all, may Allah reward her abundantly and give us all the same care and love for charity work as her, her grandfather and all the team at Malawi Relief Fund."
