A Burnley landlord praised two Padiham police officers who helped rescue him and his family from his pub as a fire broke out in the games room.
Arthur Clift, who ran the Lane Ends pub in Rosegrove in 1982, was getting ready to jump from a first floor window with his family when the officers kicked down the door and heroically got them all out.
