A FRESH appeal has been made for a man on the run after being convicted of his involvement in an East Lancashire shooting.
Detectives want to know the whereabouts of Hasriat Omar Khan, 32, as two other men face a judge tomorrow over a firearms incident in Beaconsfield Street, Haslingden, and a similar attack in Richmond Road, Accrington.
Khan, then of Moorland View, Ramsbottom, was convicted in his absence of conspiracy to possess a firearm with intent after a shotgun blast at the Haslingden property in May 2017.
Det Chief Insp Zoe Russo said: “We want to locate Khan as soon as possible so that he can brought to justice, and are urging anybody with information about where he might be to get in touch."
Khan is Asian, 5ft 9in tall, of large build. He has a tattoo of an AK47 on his neck and a tattoo of a rifle on his arm.
He is due to be sentenced by trial judge Heather Lloyd at Preston Crown Court, alongside Kassam Nadeem, 27, and Louis Ojapah, 26.
Anybody with information is asked to contact 101 or e- mail forcecontrolroom@lancashire.pnn.police.uk, quoting log number 105 of May 7, 2017.
