A MAN failed a drug driving test the morning after he had been smoking cannabis.
Blackburn magistrates heard Lee Warren Holden gave a reading of 2.5 against the legal limit of 2.
Holden, 43, of Pendle Drive, Blackburn, pleaded guilty to driving while over the limit for a specified drug. He was banned from driving for 12 months, fined £40 and ordered to pay £85 costs and £30 victim surcharge.
Duncan Nightingale, defending, said his client had taken some cannabis the night before and had no idea he would still be over the limit.
