AN INVESTIGATION has been launched following a fire in an industrial unit.
The blaze is thought to have been sparked inside a trailer full of sawdust that was being stored inside an industrial unit on Farrington Court in Burnley.
Two fire engines from Hyndburn along with crews from both Burnley and Nelson were called to the scene on Wednesday afternoon.
After extinguishing the fire, two crews remained in the unit to dampen down the area where the fire had taken hold.
A fire service spokesman said: "Crews used two breathing apparatus and one jet to extinguish the fire and dampen down the scene.
"There is no suggestion of any injuries to anyone in the area at the time.
"A fire investigation into the incident is now underway."
