A YEARLY spring charity market stall is back for the bank holiday.

The Ribchester Spring Bank Village Market will return on Monday May 27, with various charities and food stalls located within.

Starting at 9am, people will get the chance to speak to members of both national and local charities, find out about joining Ribchester's tennis club and other sports, try different food, and browse handmade gifts and other items.

Hosted by Andrew Wallin, the event has been going for the last 31 years, and this year, with 83 stalls, all entry donations will go to the School Of Gardening, who will use it to decorate school gardens and buy outdoor equipment.

The event will finish at 3pm.
