Bath Street in Colne
FIVE dogs were rescued from a house fire.
Firefighters were called to Bath Street in Colne on Friday after a fire had started in a kitchen at around 1.30pm.
A fire service spokesman said crews from Burnley, Earby and Colne attended and put the fire out.
He said: "Two people were taken to hospital for precautionary check-ups.
"Five dogs were rescued from the property."
