A MAN has been arrested after three members of staff at Accrington Post Office were sprayed in the face with an unknown substance during a robbery.
Police were called to Abbey Street at 5.30pm on Friday after reports a man had entered the building and attacked the members of staff.
A bystander is also thought to have been hit by the substance.
Police said the man demanded staff open the safe before making off with a quantity of cash.
The man then left on a pushbike.
The attacker ran off after the incident and all four victims were taken to Royal Blackburn Hospital with skin injuries.

A police spokesman said: "A 33-year-old man from Accrington was later arrested on suspicion of robbery.
"He remains in custody."
Anyone with information is asked to call police on 101 quoting log no 1057 of May 10.
