A MAN babysitting for his estranged partner while she had her hair done was arrested for being in breach of a restraining order.
Blackburn magistrates heard Aaron Andrew George was at his former partner's home when police attended which was specifically prohibited by the order.
George, 29, of Briercliffe Road, Burnley, pleaded guilty to breach of a restraining order. He was fined £80 with £85 costs and £30 victim surcharge.
Alex Mann, prosecuting, said the order had been made in January after George was convicted of criminal damage.
Catherine Fell, defending, said the victim was getting her hair done and had asked the defendant to come round and look after their child while she went to her appointment.
"When the police spoke to her she said she didn't support their investigation and found the order an inconvenience," said Miss Fell.
"It is up to her to apply for the order to be removed if that is what she wants."
