A MAN was arrested for a breach of the peace after he kicked off with his mother because she wouldn't give him any money to pay off his drug debt.
Blackburn magistrates heard Jack Scott had pestered his mum so much she had cut up her bank cards which were on the floor when police arrived at her home.
Scott, 27, of Blackburn Road, Great Harwood, admitted a breach of the peace and was bound over in £100 to keep the peace for six months especially towards Jenny Scott.
Scott Parker, defending, said his client had spent the weekend in police cells which had come as quite a shock.
"The drug debt has been causing a problem but despite that his mum is at the back of court," said Mr Parker.
