DIGNITARIES from across Blackburn with Darwen and beyond gathered at King George's Hall for the annual mayor's ball.
The great and the good came together to raise funds for borough mayor, Cllr Pat McFall's chosen charities.
Cash was raised on the night for several charities including Blackburn and District Without Abuse, Changing Lives, Humraaz Support Services, Derian House, Nightsafe and Cherished Gowns UK.
Entertainment on the evening was provided by The Soul Commitments and the event was compered by BBC Radio Lancashire star John Gilmore.
The annual event marked the end of Cllr McFall's reign as mayor.
She is expected to be replaced by current deputy mayor, Cllr Jim Shorrock, at next week's annual council meeting.
