ROSSENDALE and Darwen MP Jake Berry is to make his first visit to a Sikh Temple or gurdwara.
He was responding as communities minister to a debate on the contribution of Sikhs to the UK.
Mr Berry revealed: "I have never visited a gurdwara, so I will have to do that. I do not have one in my constituency, but the huge contribution that gurdwaras are making to communities across Great Britain is absolutely fantastic."
Walsall North Conservative MP Eddie Hughes told him: "I have an excellent gurdwara in Willenhall in my constituency. The minister would be welcome to come and visit it with me at any time."
Mr Berry replied: "Fantastic. I accept that invitation."
