A DRUNK and abusive man couldn’t understand what police were saying to him when they attended a disturbance outside his partner’s home.
Blackburn magistrates heard Derek Lloyd was being abusive and drinking out of a vodka bottle when police arrived at the address in Park Drive, Nelson.
Lloyd, 66, of no fixed address, pleaded guilty to being drunk and disorderly.
He was given a conditional discharge for 12 months and ordered to pay £85 costs and £20 victim surcharge.
