A MAN has been arrested on suspicion of threats to kill.
Police were called to a reports of a burglary at a house in Accrington at around 1.50pm today.
The occupier had reported someone had entered their property and caused quite extensive damage as well as making threats to harm them.
After being made aware of a suspect, officers traced a man to Moscow Mill Street, Oswaldtwistle, near to Oswaldtwistle Mills
A 36-year-old man from Accrington was arrested on suspicion of threats to kill and aggravated burglary.
He is currently in custody.
Eyewitness Francis Duckett, 84, described seeing police point two tasers at a man.
Mr Duckett said: "I saw police chasing a man down Moscow Mill Street and into a car park at about half past three.
"They pointed two tasers at him and managed to sit him down on the floor and arrest him.
"I was out shopping at Oswaldtwistle Mills and it had all finished by the time I come back out."
