The sun shone brightly for one town on Saturday as residents enjoyed a special Easter event.
The Easter Extravaganza saw hundreds flock to Nelson Town Centre to enjoy everything from bouncy castles to face painting, and lots and lots of Easter eggs.
Hosted by the Town Council, the family fun day, which ran from 11am until 4pm also included funfair rides, children's entertainment, food stalls and an Easter egg decorating competition.
The Mayor of Pendle, James Starkie, opened the event, and brave youngsters got to test their sea legs out as they tried to ride the waves on a surf simulator.
