The first Haslingden Sunflower Art competition organised by Haslingden Methodist Church in partnership with the local Civic Pride has been hailed a huge success.
More than 200 entries were received and the winners were presented with gift vouchers.
Winners of the group competition were 3rd Rossendale Brownies, with Amy Kelly-Brown winning the under 11s competition, Savannah Love winning the 12-16 year-old competition and Kathy Allcock winning the competition in the over 16s category.
Highly commended awards were also given to twelve artists including some Year One students at Broadway Primary School.
