WE all love shopping whether it is for ourselves or friends.
So, we looked back at the changing trend of shopping in Blackburn town centre throughout the years.
One of the photographs shows artist impressions of King William Street and the view of Debenhams and the Mall which was used in the paper in 1994.
Some of the names still remain on the high street today including McDonald's, Marks and Spencer and even the banks such as Alliance and Leicester (Santander), Yorkshire Building Society.
Others such as Specsavers are still in the town but are at different locations.

Shoppers in the 1990s will remember the BHS store in the shopping centre but now Wilko has taken its prime spot in the Mall.
Another familiar name is Argos which is no longer in the town centre and is based at the Town’s Moor Retail Park.
There is a photo with Allan Caster, general manager of the Blackburn Shopping Centre and Huw Monsen, tenant liaison officer for Costain who were admiring the new glass roof at Cobden Court in 1995.
Another historic picture was of the new clocktower on King William Street from a new £350k aerial platform ladder which gave a birds eye view of the street.
