A junior football club have been given a massive cash injection.
Barnoldswick Town JFC, who play at Victory Park in Barnoldswick, were awarded £20,780 from the Football Foundation to help them purchase equipment to maintain their pitches.
The Football Foundation is a partnership between the FA, the Premier League and the Government, via Sport England, and the grant awarded to the club is one of 16,000 community sports projects the Foundation has helped support since 2000.
MP for Pendle, Andrew Stephenson, said: "Great news that Barlick Town Juniors have been awarded nearly £21k by the Football Foundation.
"As a club they do incredible work with youngsters in the area and they can now do a lot more.
"I'm delighted to see local junior grassroots teams being supported."
