A SHOEMAKER from East Lancashire has taken inspiration from the Big Apple for his spring launch.

Whalley-based Marco Vaghetti has unveiled his S/S19 range for Lanx.

His footwear brand was inspired by the global fact-finding mission he embarked on before kickstarting Lanx in his nan's front room.

Marco said: "This is the second full collection from Lanx. It's slightly more casual to reflect spring/summer but we have retained all the hallmarks to make the ‘Proper Shoes’ we're known for."

He once studied at the Brooklyn Shoe Space, which has informed the fledgling range, which boasts their first Chelsea boot and loafer.
