A WOMAN'S death was alcohol-related, an inquest heard.

Laura Anne Traynor, 28, was found dead by husband Neil Traynor at her home on Cross Street, Great Harwood, on October 6 last year.

The inquest at Preston Coroners' Court heard Laura had a documented reliance upon alcohol.

The medical cause of her death was a gastro intestinal bleed and alcohol consumption.

Recording his conclusion that Mrs Traynor's death was alcohol-related, James Newman, area coroner, said: "Mrs Traynor, who had a documented reliance upon alcohol was found dead at Cross Street, Great Harwood on October 6, 2018.

"Her death was due to the long term affects of alcohol consumption and is alcohol related."
