A BLACKBURN company has come up trumps at an education awards ceremony in London.
Learning by Questions (LbQ) triumphed in the best resources in secondary schools category at the Education Resource Awards.
Judges were impressed by the "advanced pedagogy in reinforcing correct answers and identifying misconceptions before they become embedded".
Their classroom app is aligned with curriculum-based questions and is designed to reduce teachers' workloads.
Tony Cann, who pioneered the interactive whiteboard at Promethean, said the fact they had won the honour, and been successful in the Bett Awards, in the same field, was "testament to the power of our resource and its incredibly positive impact on teaching and learning".
