ANOTHER name has been added to the boohoo fashion stable, it has been announced.

The online clothing giant, which has a large distribution site in Burnley, has snapped up Miss Pap.

Earlier this month it was reported that bosses at the Burscough-based company was on the verge of calling in administrators.

It has been confirmed that boohoo, which already has the Pretty Little Thing and Nasty Gal labels in its fold, has acquired the the brand and intellectual property assets of the outfit.

John Lyttle, the group's chief executive, said: "MissPap is a brand with great potential which can leverage the group's expertise.

"This acquisition further strengthens our multi brand platform, representing an exciting opportunity to accelerate our offering to our ever-growing range of customers globally."

Miss Pap was first established in 2014 by Ashley Ali and had been looking to expand into the American market.
