HYNDBURN Council's deputy leader Cllr Paul Cox is urging borough residents to join Keep Britain Tidy’s ‘Great British Spring Clean 2019’- the country’s biggest ever mass-action environmental campaign.
He wants them to sign up to Keep Britain Tidy's drive for people to join local clean-ups and litter picks to improve the environment on their doorstep by registering at www.keepbritaintidy.org. The campaign lasts until April 23.
Cllr Cox said “We’re right behind Keep Britain Tidy’s Great British Spring Clean campaign, so please join us as we stand together and declare that litter – which degrades the beauty of our environment and threatens to harm wildlife – is not acceptable.”
