FORMER X-Factor sensation Grace Davies is set to perform a live online gig.

The 22-year-old from Langho will be singing a mix of original songs and covers on the online platform Stageit on Thursday, April 4.

The singer-songwriter, who rose to stardom after becoming a finalist on the ITV show in 2017, announced the performance as she addressed her fans about progress on her new album.

Miss Davies said the performance the 'Ballads and Bants Show' will be available all over the world.

She said: "I recently posted on Facebook about where I'm at with writing the album and I wanted to reiterate to you guys in particular how lucky I am to have such incredible fans and people anticipating my music - that’s so exciting and heartwarming for me.

"It has been an extremely busy and pressured time for me and every month that goes by I realise it's another month that you lovely lot are waiting to hear news about my album.

"Please be assured it will be coming, but I just want to make sure I get it 100 per cent right.

"It's a fickle industry and I have to be confident that I'm putting something out that I’m a million percent happy with, so thanks for your patience."

The event will also include a chat box for fans to interact with each other during the performance.

Miss Davies said: "I did a couple of Stageit shows pre-X Factor, but obviously haven't done one in forever.

"So I'm really looking forward to singing for you huns and having a laugh, a goss and a proper little catch up."
