A MAN slapped his mum when she refused to give him £200.

Blackburn magistrates heard Asad Khan then kicked his sister in the stomach when she said she was calling the police.

Khan, 24, of New Bank Road, Blackburn, pleaded guilty to two charges of assault and causing £300 worth of damage to a door belonging to his mother. He was made subject to a community order for 12 months with 20 days rehabilitation activity requirement and 40 hours unpaid work and ordered to pay £150 costs and £85 victim surcharge.

Tracy Yates, prosecuting, said the defendant’s mother was at home when Khan demanded she give him £200 and started to argue with her. When she refused he started shouting and screaming.

“He left, slamming the door behind him, but returned shortly afterwards and was shouting loudly,” said Mrs Yates. “His sister said she was scared when she saw him slap their mother.”
