A community centre has been rewarded with a £11,000 funding boost thanks to the SUEZ Communities Trust.
The funding will help to improve the multi-use community hall at the Audley Centre, Blackburn.
The room will now feature 12 brand new 6 foot removable mirrors to compliment the fitness, dance and mobility classes at the centre.
Marek Gordon, Chairman of SUEZ Communities Trust said, "SUEZ Communities Trust provides funding awards through the Landfill Communities Fund. This important source of funding has been available since 1997 and has provided such worthy projects with more than £1.4 billion.
"We were delighted to be able to offer funding to Audley Centre.”
Blackburn's MP Kate Hollern said, "I wish to pass on my sincerest congratulations to you in securing this funding.
"I know what good work staff do at Audley, and how important the facility is to both the local community and wider users across Blackburn."
Work is due to be completed in early April 2019.
