CONTEMPORARY artists came together as Rossina Conroy in 1989 showed off her picture along with Itor, sculptor Paul Ellia, Steve Morris, and Rosemary Eveleigh.
They stand at the Lewis Textile Museum Exhibition of Blackburn Contemporary artists.
It was named after local manufacturer Thomas Boys Lewis to celebrate the industry, and gave a glimpse of the life and machinery used by people over the years in Blackburn. The museum continued running until 2006, where all the collections of the textile industry moved to Blackburn Museum and Art Gallery. They are on display there.
