A CLEANING firm can certainly see its way clear to further growth in 2019.

Colne-based Unique Clean, Hire and Facilities can now count the likes of Airbus, Sir Robert McAlpine, Eric Wright and boohoo among its client roster.

This is all from founder Glenn Stock growing the business from his window-cleaning rounds in Nelson and Colne.

His company’s turnover doubled, and staff numbers soared, after being mentored by Boost, backed by Lancashire Economic Partnership.

Staff numbers swelled from 10 to 48 and they are now is on a course to take on a further 15 this year.

Mr Stock said: “After receiving mentoring support, and reviewing staffing structures and job roles, the business can now grow in a more manageable way.

“By delegating operational activities to managers and team leaders, I can focus on developing new business and expanding our services to existing customers.”

His mentor, David Grant, added: “He was so busy doing everything, Glenn had little time to actually work on the business.”
