A BENEFITS worker from Rossendale has confessed to diverting more than £10,000 from claimants into her own pocket.
Debra Lee, 52, of Old Lane, Shawforth, pleaded guilty to fraud and a further charge of attempted fraud, totalling £1,302, between September 11 and November 14, 2017.
The charges relate to her employment as an income support benefit processor.
Shaw was committed for sentence by Pennine magistrates to Burnley Crown Court and bailed until April 15.
