A SAUCE maker has pledged its support to an East Lancashire military charity.
Water-based Nowt Poncy Food Company will now be working closely with Haslingden's Veterans in Communities.
Co-founder Karen Abel said: "When we first started the business we said that once we take on staff we wanted to employ veterans.
"We would like to be able to offer veterans a chance and also help them to resettle in Civvy Street."
The Rossendale outfit now has five successful sauces, selling nationwide, as well as a thriving pasta range.
Bob Elliott, the charity's operations manager, added: "This is a partnership which we hope will be able to grow and develop over the years to the benefit of both organisations."
