Coronation Street fans can rejoice as one of the show's best-loved characters will be making a welcome return to TV screens later this year.
Norris Cole, who is played by actor Malcolm Hebden, will be back on the famous Weatherfield cobbles in April.
The actor, who grew up in Burnley, has been away from the Street since early last year, after he suffered a serious heart attack in December 2017 and has been recovering from surgery since last summer.
His return in April is only temporary but Coronation Street's producer Iain MacLeod said he hopes for the character to make a full return in the near future.
Norris, who is known for his busybody alter-ego, first appeared in the soap in the late 90s, and is somewhat of a legend among Corrie fans, sitting in the same bracket as Emily Bishop, Rita Sullivan and Ken Barlow.
