AN INVESTIGATION has been launched after a caravan fire in Burnley.
The incident happened at the bottom of Latham Street at 1.45am this morning.
Watch manager Rob Birtwistle said: "The caravan was destroyed and engulfed with flames when we arrived.
"We used two hose reels to extinguish the fire and we were there for about three-quarters of an hour.
"It is being treated as deliberate but we could not tell if it was derelict or if someone owned it.
"It looked as if there was quite a lot of stuff in it.
"No-one was injured by the fire and it had been reported by a member of the public."
