QUESTION marks are hanging over the catering at Blackburn Rovers after it was confirmed their long-standing deal with Northcote will be ending soon.
Rovers has enjoyed a partnership with the Langho Michelin-star rated hospitality firm since 2001.
But from the end of this season, the club is on the lookout for a new corporate and matchday caterer.
The function will either be brought in-house or another external partner will be sought, say officials.
Steve Waggott, Rovers chief executive, said the corporate market had “changed over the last two decades” and thanked Northcote for their contribution.
He added: “This ever-changing environment is at the forefront of why the club wants to explore and review the catering options available to it going forward.”
Craig Bancroft, Northcote managing director said the firm, recently taken over by Britannia Hospitality, had enjoyed a "wonderful tenure as Northcote at the Rovers".
He hoped the new caterers would recognise the “wonderful team that is in place" there already.
