AN expanding financial firm in Blackburn has secured new premises.
Indepedent asset finance specialist Prateura has made the move from Haydock House, at Brownhill, to the old RBS building at Walker Park, off Blackamoor Road.
In late January the outfit announced it was taking over Cheshire-based Kingsway Asset Finance.
And weeks later it confirmed it had clinched a £75million securities deal with NatWest Markets, as it plans to create a £250million loan book by 2021.
Back when it was launched in 2013, the company had eight members of staff. But now there are 30 on board, with more anticipated.
Mike Hartley, managing director, said it had been clear Haydock House was too small for some time.
David Hill, a partner in the commercial property team at Napthens, another Walker Park firm, advised on the switch.
He said: “Praetura’s expansion has been marked in recent years and the new HQ will allow for significant further expansion and hopefully be the start of a new phase of growth.”
