POLICE were called after a post van crashed on a major route.
A silver Mini Clubman and the Royal Mail van crashed at about 3pm today.
Police said no one was seriously injured in the crash.
The crash happened just outside the Royal Mail sorting office.
An air ambulance was also seen overhead but it is thought it was not needed.
A police spokesman said: "We were called to Wainwright Way in Blackburn at 3pm.
"Two vehicles were involved - a silver Mini and a Royal Mail post van.
"There were no serious injuries."

The driver of the Mini was being treated at the scene. It is thought the Royal Mail driver is not hurt.
A man, 38, died after being knocked down on the road, not far from today's crash.
