ARTIST Carole Pugh, has donated an oil on canvas painting titled 'Footprints in the snow' to children's charity Secret Santa.
Secret Santa is a charity that works closely with Children's services to provide presents to under-privileged children across Blackburn and Darwen.
The painting, which shows children playing happily in the recent snow, splashing and making snowballs adjacent Blackburn’s iconic 'Grandmother and child' statue on the old boulevard, is worth £1,000, and is to be auctioned off in a raffle.
Founder of Secret Santa, Phil Boulding, said: "Every penny helps, and we will be raffling off this iconic painting at only £1 a ticket.
