A TEENAGE has been taken to hospital after being hit by a car.
Police, paramedics and the air ambulance have all been called to the incident in Apple Street, Blackburn, at 3.40pm today.
The boy, thought to be 13, was hit by a Citroen, and has suffered a suspected broken leg.
No arrest has been made.
No road closure has been put in place but officers are controlling traffic in the area.
An ambulance spokesman said: “We were called to a road traffic collision between a teenage boy and a car in Apple Street, Blackburn.”
The air ambulance was alerted to the incident but has now been stood down, added the spokesman.
Any witnesses can call police on 101, quoting log 919 of February 14.
