IMAGES of a man have been released by police following a sexual assault at a train station.
British Transport Police officers are appealing for information after an alleged sexual assault on a bench outside of Blackburn railway station in December.
A male is reported to have sat next to a woman and repeatedly groped her while asking for her phone number.
Officers now wish to speak to the person in the image as they believe he may have information about the incident.
A spokesman said: "The incident happened at 7.25pm on Saturday 29 December 2018.
"Anyone who recognises the man, or who has more information about the incident, is asked to contact BTP by texting 61016 or calling 0800 40 50 40, quoting reference number 224 of 03/01/2019."
