NEW Blackburn nightclub Code will open next month, promoters have revealed.
The club will open at the former Switch site at 11pm on March 1.
A spokesman said there would be new owners and management, a new decor, new security, new superstar DJs and a new sound and lights.
Guest DJ Jason Fubar from the Syndicat in Blackpool, BCM Magaluf, and Blackpool Festival will be performing on the opening night and organisers are promising 'very special guest DJs to be announced'.
Earlier this month, the Lancashire Telegraph revealed nightclubs supremo Freddie Marshall and superstar DJ Jason Fubar, who had worked their magic on venues from Lanzarote to the Lancashire coast, were relaunching the Blackburn club.
Now the pairing is hoping to transform the fortunes of the former Liquid and Envy nightclub, in St Peter’s Street, when it reopens as Code in March.
Mr Marshall says he is investing £100,000 in a makeover for the site, which last traded as Switch.
Switch closed in October blaming a 'steady decrease in customer numbers which therefore incurred significant losses'.
