A HEAT sensor set off an alarm at a takeaway in Darwen.
Crews from Greater Manchester, Blackburn and another from Darwen attended the incident at a pizza takeaway at 2.22pm this afternoon.
A Lancashire Fire Service spokesman said: "There was a fire involving a heat sensor which activated on a pizza oven.
"There actually was no fire at the scene and the crews were there for about 20 minutes.
"No-one was hurt by the incident."
