ROLLS-ROYCE has been part of East Lancashire for many, many years.
Thousands of people have worked there over the decades, with more than 3,000 employees working at three separate sites in Barnoldswick during the 1960s.
To many people Rolls-Royce means expensive and luxury cars, but those in Barnoldswick picture high-quality, complex aero engines.
The RB211 was produced at the sites, with the 'R' standing for Rolls and 'B' for Barnoldswick.
The Rolls-Royce Leisure Club, constructed for its employees was built in the 1960s.
