Discover the music of the Sufis with a captivating Qawaali performance at Kala Sangam Bradford.

On Saturday 9 February at 7.30pm, Kala Sangam welcomes Zahir Abbas Qawaal for a powerful performance of devotional music.

In high demand for their mesmerising performances, Zahir Abbas Qawaal is a leading Sufi Qawaali group, who have performed widely across the UK and internationally.

Trained by his father Tazim Khan and performing since the age of 11, Zahir Abbas has built up a reputation for the high level intensity of his performances of this sacred art form.

For audiences new to Qawaali music, Kala Sangam - Bradford’s intercultural Arts Centre - is the perfect setting to discover the artform.

This spring, Kala Sangam has introduced a new ‘Pay What You Decide’ pricing structure for most events. Under the new system, tickets can be booked in advance as usual but audiences don’t pay until they have seen the show.

This allows people to not only pay what they can afford but also decide on a price based on their experiences of a show.

There are a limited number of tickets left at www.kalasangam.org/qawaali or call 01274 303340.
