THE North West Ambulance Service NHS trust has a new chairman.
Former Lancashire police assistant chief constable and Ribble Valley resident Peter White took up the post this week.
NWAS provides the NHS ambulance service for Lancashire,
Mr White, previously its vice chairman, has been a non-executive director of the trust since 2014.
He said: “It’s an honour to be given the opportunity to continue to be part of the leadership team at NWAS."
Mr White succeeds Wyn Dignan and his post lasts until January 31 2023.
