A CYCLIST was airlifted to hospital after a crash involving a van in Blackburn.
Police were called to Chester Close at 9.45am on Saturday to reports of a collision involving a white Mercedes van and the cyclist who had come out of a side alleyway.
The cyclist, who is in his 20s, was airlifted to Royal Preston Hospital with chest injuries and a broken arm. His condition is not life-threatening.
A police spokesman said no action will be taken against the van driver, who suffered no injuries.
