Two men have been arrested after a large amount of heroin and cocaine was found in a car.

On Thursday morning, officers from the Targeted Crime Team stopped a vehicle on North Valley Road in Colne and apprehended two men, aged 29 and 30.

A spokesperson for the police said: "A large amount of suspected heroin and crack cocaine was found in the vehicle, along with a smart phone and 'burner' phone."

The men, both from Bradford, were arrested on suspicion of possession with intent to supply Class A drugs.

They are due to be questioned by police this evening.
